Jimmy launched his professional career as a trumpet player- both as a solo and backing artist- and as an artist, songwriter, and lyricist. He has performed and recorded with Angie Stone, PJ Morton, Monica, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, David Banner, and Janelle Monae, among a host of other artists. Jimmy King currently tours, performs, and records with Grammy-award winning artist Bruno Mars, playing the trumpet and performing background vocals in three world tours to date. His new project, A Dreamer’s Tale, is now available.
